Waterline Boats is displaying a new Helmsman Trawlers 38 Pilothouse on the water. Step aboard to see the quality and design features of the Helmsman Trawlers line — you’ll understand why we are so excited about these boats!
You will also find us in the display tent at the Lake Union venue where we have a booth with display models of the entire Helmsman Trawlers line —we’ll be pleased to explain the features of all the models. We are also featuring all of our Boatshed Seattle brokerage listings (100 in all) in this display. Our booth will be staffed with experienced Waterline Boats / Boatshed Seattle agents eager to talk about boating and happy to assist you in finding the vessel that’s right for you.

Accommodations include 5 berths – 2 doubles and 1 single in one cabin. A vacuflush toilet, sink/vanity with separate shower stall make up the head. Galley appointments include a refrigerator, 2 burner electric stove, built in microwave, coffee maker and stainless steel sink. The interior cabin decks are newly carpeted as well as new re-upholstered interior cushions.
The cockpit layout is great for entertaining with abundant adult-size seating, a wet bar, useful counter space and refrigerator all just aft of the helm seat.

Seattle weather forecasters call it a Canadian weather system. Our friends in British Columbia, suffering similarly from the cold, call it an Alaskan weather system. Either way, the Northwest has been blasted with miserable weather — strong winds, snow, ice & frigid record breaking temperatures. Though a fresh blanket of new fallen snow is beautiful, it can be a hassle if you’re a boat owner or a boat broker.
Waterline Boats / Boatshed Seattle has been busy tending to boats at their Seattle Lake Union office, and checking on friends’ and personal boats at various marinas in the Seattle area. It’s important to secure lines in preparation for the predicted strong winds, ensure anti-freeze heating is in place when available, drain water lines, etc. Temperatures are expected to be bitterly cold through the Thanksgiving holiday weekend with more cold and more snow predicted for Seattle and Puget Sound this winter. Blame it on La Nina!
Looking for a way to own a boat while reducing financing, moorage, maintenance and other costs? Waterline Boats / Boatshed Seattle is partnering with Seattle’s Windworks Sailing and Powerboating to offer a program that will reduce annual costs by up to half (assuming 20% down payment on purchase) with moorage at Shilshole Bay Marina and only 70 charter days per year.
